18 month pictures

Here are a few of the pictures from Bryson's 18 month photoshoot. They were all taken in Lynn Haven, FL by Rebecca Knowles Photography. Feel free to check out her website at www.RebeccaKnowles.com. She sure had her work cut out for her.  But they all turned out great!  We hope that you enjoy them as much as we do.

April has been a busy month!

On Saturday, April 3rd, Bryson had a birthday party to attend. The birthday party was for a friend whose daughter turned 1. It was held at Under The Oaks Park in Parker. The party was lots of fun and Bryson got to interract with children his own age as well as on the playground and have a good lunch of hot dogs and hamburgers off the grill. It was lots of fun!

Last Sunday was Easter Sunday and the Easter bunny visited our house long enough to drop off a basket for Bryson. That bunny was rather stingy this year and didn't leave hardly any candy at all! He did however leave an Elmo basket that was full of toys for Bryson to play with. There were lots of things in the basket: 2 Thomas the Train dvd's, 1 Veggietales dvd, a chocolate rabbit, some Elmo-shaped eggs, 2 Lightning McQueen-shaped eggs, a slinky, a few trucks, a ball or two, and some bubbles. Later in the day, we went to have Easter dinner with the family and celebrated my oldest nephew's 8th birthday. It was the 2nd birthday party that we had attended that week. All in all, it was a great day. There was a little a little bit of candy, an egg hunt, dinner, family, and good times.

Bryson got his 18 month pictures taken on Friday, April 9, 2010 by Rebecca Knowles. We visited in the studio in Lynn Haven, FL and got a few outfit changes in as well as some really great pictures!

The next day, our litle family got in the car and headed to Tallahassee, FL for the day to watch the Florida State Seminole Garnet & Gold practice game. We got there a little bit early and was able to watch half of the FSU vs. UF Lacrosse game. The Seminoles won 25-9. I had never been to a Lacrosse game, but it was very interesting. After the Lacrosse game was over, practice started for the football game. Our seats were on the 25 yard line in the first row. Can you really get better seats than that??? I don't think so!!!! During the warm-up, Bryson decided to get a better look to see what was going on and ended up getting into a fight with the concrete wall. Needless to say, the wall won and bloodied Bryson's nose. He cried for a bit, but he's a tough little guy and didn't act like it bothered him the rest of the day. He really enjoyed the game, but I think that he enjoyed the cheerleaders even more! ;) Every time they were cheering in front of us, he kept saying "I love you!" and chatting with them. It was rather funny to us and everyone around us. We ended up leaving just a little bit before the game ended because it was about nap time. The final score ended up being Gold 29- Garnet 17.

Today, we went to the park since Daddy was off and it was so nice out! We all had lots of fun. Maybe if it's nice outside tomorrow we will go back. We still have a busy month ahead of us. This weekend, we will be going to Mobile, AL for a bridal shower on Saturday and church on Sunday. The following week, we will be going to Indiana to visit with my family and attend a wedding.

Getting started!!

Hi to everyone who reads this!! I started this blog to follow my son as he grows. There is so much for him to learn and do, and I don't want to miss a minute of it.
Bryson was born on Wednesday September 3, 2008 at 9:53am at Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, FL. He was born a month early, but was perfect in every single way and was my miracle. I thank God every day for him. He weighed 5lbs and 4oz and was 18" long. He did not need oxygen or have to go to the NICU (Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit) and was able to spend the night in the room with me and my husband.
The past 8.5 months have really flown by!! It seems like my little man just got here yesterday.
In the past few months, he has learned how to crawl, pull to a stand, clap his hands, say words like: "mama", "dada", and "hey". It is so amazing to watch him and see what new thing that he is going to do next. He now has 2 bottom teeth that came in on the same day. He is currently teething again and has been working really hard to try and walk.
Here are a few pictures that his wonderful and talented aunt took of him when he was about 4 months old.
